My boys are so excited when I told them that we will be taking them to see The Nutcracker at the Alex Theatre in Glendale (sponsored). We have spent two weeks reading the Nutcracker and listening to the music. That this is the first time my oldest has taken interest in the piano to try to play the March. While my littlest one is playing the Mouse King and has requested that next Halloween the whole family dress up as these characters. Should I be Clara or the Sugar Plum Fairy? I’ll make a firm decision after we watch the Red Chair Production of The Nutcrack happening the weekend of December 14th and 15th. I am happy to say that we partnered up with Red Chair Productions to provide a family 4-ticket giveaway on my Instagram page! The winner will be able to watch The Nutcracker on Saturday, December 14th, 6:30pm!
My oldest is in ballet and I want him to experience seeing other young children his age perform. This is the perfect opportunity to take him since Red Chair Productions because they feature young people and this is perfect first time experience for my littles. This unique performing arts experience, featuring professional costumes and sets, as well as more than 100 dancers ages 5 – 18 in supporting and lead roles! The educator in me also loves that they educate and promote opportunities for young girls by providing them with the opportunity to meet with the cast and all-female producing team to discuss
leadership skills and the hard work that goes into a production of this caliber. This is perfect for any family’s first theater experience and a holiday tradition not to be missed.
